Many politicians refuse to answer the questions in the Project Vote-Smart solicitation because they don't want voters knowing where they stand on the issues! They like being able to fudge and evade when being asked about an issue, and having it on record and posted on the web is the last thing they want. Especially when it can be compared to their voting record while in session.

7. Voters deserve a state senator who will listen and fight for affordable healthcare, economic development, and educational opportunity for our children. I graduated from UW-Madison, and serve in the Navy Reserve. I graduated from Marquette Law School and worked for Foley & Lardner, practicing healthcare law. I then established my own law practice in Wauwatosa. I’ve served on the City Council since 2000. I live in the East Towne neighborhood with my wife Linda and our two children. I’ve knocked on thousands of doors and heard we need to return the 5th District to effective, reasonable, and responsible representation.
