Many politicians refuse to answer the questions in the Project Vote-Smart solicitation because they don't want voters knowing where they stand on the issues! They like being able to fudge and evade when being asked about an issue, and having it on record and posted on the web is the last thing they want. Especially when it can be compared to their voting record while in session.

| Senate, District 23 | Question 1 | Question 2 | Question 3 | Question 4 | Question 5 | Question 6 |
| Yes | *** | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Kreitlow:
1. Yes
2. Yes, I support the goal but more specifically: a) No, I’m not prepared to commit more tax dollars without more information, b) Yes, c) Yes, d) Yes, e) No, as it would likely trigger an unsuccessful, expensive court challenge, f) Yes
3. Yes
4. Yes
5. Yes
6. Yes
7. I chose to run for a seat in the Legislature because as a constituent and a journalist, I'd grown tired of seeing stories about the same games and gridlock taking place in Madison. I believe the current legislature spends too much time working on personal pet-projects rather than the real issues that affect Wisconsin families. I want to work on making health care more affordable, lowering the tax burden on families, and maintaining quality education as a basis for job creation. We also need to address rising gas prices by keeping Wisconsin a leader in ethanol research, leading to greater energy independence.
